Orca's Future Up to the Courts

The future of B.C.'s southern orca population is once again in the hands of the courts. On Nov. 30, three justices of the Court of Appeal heard an appeal by the federal Minister of Fisheries and Oceans. The court reserved judgment, giving lawyers 30 days to file additional documents.
